With Kalloni as starting point the Trail heads for the village of Dafia, in the valley and on a quiet asphalt road. From there the main part starts, on trails of rocky but low hills. It is a circle with stops to monasteries and properties of the historic Leimonos Monastery, re-established by Saint Ignatios Agallianos during the Ottoman occupation. The trekker will have the chance to enjoy a big part of this course on cobblestone trails from the time of the Saint and go in the sacred areas of the monasteries as well as visiting the very interesting Museums of Leimonos Monastery.
